SUPPORT STAFF APPLICATION NOTE:
Although the Florida Sheriffs Association has elected to retain certain information as “confidential” in the Support Staff application, your office should be aware of a contrary Attorney General Opinion. Because FSA believes that many of the safety concerns supporting the exemption of “law enforcement personnel” also exist among support staff, we have chosen to retain this information as confidential pending legislative changes next session.
