Day at the Capitol

Every year during Legislative session many Sheriffs take time out of their very busy schedules to meet with legislators in Tallahassee. In the past, the Sheriffs have celebrated a particular day to exhibit in the courtyard as well. The FSA did not host a formal day at the Capitol in 2011, however, Sheriffs continue to meet individually with legislators on issues critical to public safety and law enforcement as they arise, as well as provide expert recommendations as needed.
