Legal Notice: Notice is hereby given that the Florida Model Jail Standards Review Committee will hold a meeting to which all interested persons are invited. Anyone wishing to record the meeting may do so but must provide their own equipment.
Date and Time: Friday, March 14th, 2014, at 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Location: Keiser University, 6430 Southpoint Parkway, Jacksonville, Florida 32216
Purpose: To discuss proposed changes, issues and concerns involving the minimum standards and operations of Florida’s county and municipal jails.
Please be advised that the Florida Model Jail Standards may be obtained by contacting the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Department of Corrections, Security Unit (Sergeant David Harvey), Jacksonville, Florida 32202 or in person at 500 East Adams Street, Jacksonville, Florida. The last FMJS Meeting was September 6, 2013 at Keiser University in Jacksonville. The purpose was to discuss proposed changes, issues and concerns involving the minimum standards and operations of Florida’s county and municipal jails.
