At FSA we are dedicated to keeping Florida’s citizens and visitors safe. Our goal is to protect youth, provide services to Sheriffs, and promote public safety through the legislative process. Our interns may enjoy a variety of experiences such as working in the areas of law enforcement, corrections or even public safety, with our Teen Driver Challenge program.
Our internship program offers opportunities to college and university students. They are best suited to those working toward an associate, bachelors, masters or doctoral degree. We currently offer internship opportunities in Public Policy, and Criminology/Criminal Justice, General Business or related fields. Interns are asked work 15 hours per week for 10-12 weeks from the FSA headquarters in Tallahassee, Florida. Applicants interested an internship program outside of Tallahassee should contact their local Sheriff’s office.
