We can't do it alone --
we need your help . . .
Become a "Partner
Against Crime"
Florida residents who want to take a
proactive approach in the fight against crime may join the Florida Sheriffs Association as
an Honorary Member for just $20
annually.
In addition to being counted as an active supporter of law
enforcement in Florida, member benefits include:
Information you won't get anywhere else. You'll receive six issues of
The Sheriff's Star magazine -- an inside edition on law enforcement. The Sheriff's Star
spotlights trends in crime, law enforcement techniques and offers readers important crime
prevention tips.
The Rancher. Each quarter, you'll hear about what's happening inside the
Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches. The Florida Sheriffs Association is both founder and an
active partner in the Youth Ranches, which focus on the prevention of juvenile delinquency
through its residential child care programs, camping facilities, and community based
services.
You'll also receive an honorary member identification card, shield and
bumper sticker to show you're a supporter of law enforcement in your area.
Law enforcement members receive all of the benefits above,
plus many insurance benefits and quarterly issues of The All Points Bulletin. This
"trade journal" is intended to inform its readers about new and improved police
techniques, and keep them informed about some of the specialized projects and programs
being implemented within other sheriff's offices in the state and nation.
Business
memberships are also available at the levels of $50 annually (BRONZE), $250 annually
(SILVER), $500 annually (GOLD).
If you are not already a member and are interested in
joining the Florida Sheriffs Association, you can pick up an FSA membership brochure at
your County Sheriff's Office. Or, you can join now by filling out our online membership application.
The National Charities Information Bureau recommends that
at least 60% of a group's annual budget should go to the purpose for which the money was
raised. The Florida Sheriff's Association's track record far exceeds that minimum. More
than 80% of FSA's annual revenue goes right into programs that enhance law enforcement in
all counties throughout the state, including (name of County) County. FSA does not employ
telemarketers or professional fund raisers and welcomes the scrutiny of all Florida
citizens on financial matters.
The Honorary and Lifetime Membership Programs
Honorary Membership dues are only $20 per year and
tax-deductible for income tax purposes.
FSA also offers a Lifetime Honorary Membership. Supporters
of the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches whose contributions have exceeded $2,500 or more in
cash, or $5,000 or more in non-cash gifts are given special recognition. These individuals
are awarded a Lifetime Membership in the Florida Sheriffs Association. Each Lifetime
Honorary Member receives a special plaque presented by the Sheriff of the county in which
he or she resides.
Additionally, Lifetime Members receive an FSA Lifetime
Membership I.D. card and a lifetime subscription to The Sheriff's Star and The Rancher
magazines.
The Business Membership Program
Throughout Florida, over 3,500 businesses have become
members of the Association, and proudly show their support of FSA's programs and services
by displaying their membership plaques on the walls of their offices and businesses.
Today, the Business Membership Program serves as an
excellent example of how law enforcement and the business community can work together as
partners for safer and stronger communities.

of the following membership levels:
BRONZE $50 annually
