Who should attend: Jails Administrators and/or their staff charged with the responsibility of responding to, reporting and investigating any complaints of sexual battery. Participants need to bring the following:
• Copy of the Federal Register (dated June 20, 2012)
• PREA Standards
• PREA Checklist
Please note: Class size is limited to 35 participants. The deadline for registrations is August 24, 2012.
The Hotels are 15 minutes from the location of the training located on Airport Road. The training shall be held at the Police Academy which is located on the campus of Florida State College Jacksonville and the address is 4715 Capper Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218. The hotels are also 5 minutes from the River City Market Place which provides a wide variety of restaurants.
