Course Content: They say “keep your friends close and your enemies closer.” By definition, savvy means “shrewdness and knowledge in the reality of life.” In addition to building trust and facilitating change, an effective leader must use “savvy” to exert personal influence and achieve his/her goals. This starts with a good understanding of different leadership styles and how to use your own style most effectively.
After completing this one-day course you should be able to: Identify your own personal leadership style, understand the leadership weaknesses and strengths of the people around you, and develop strategies for influencing individuals, groups and your organization to a specific course of action
Who should attend: Law enforcement command staff personnel or anyone aspiring to lead others.
PLEASE NOTE: This class is limited to 15 students. Cutoff for registration is 9/14/12.
