A Two-Day Advanced Summit

Hosted by Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd and Lakeland Police Chief Lisa Womack. Co-Sponsored by FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association and Purdue Pharma

Content: This two-day advanced summit will address how Drug Diversion impacts law enforcement. This will be an interactive summit with attendees actively encouraged to contribute their experiences and strategies in drug diversion, sharing both investigative barriers as well as success stories.  The Summit will address a range of drug diversion issues, including:

  • Prescription Drug Identification
  • Lawful prescribing and prevention of diversion
  • RxPATROL (robbery and burglary database)
  • "Catch a Thief" - Purdue's bottle tracking program
  • Investigative techniques at healthcare facilities
  • Local case reviews

Who should attend: The Summit is open to Sheriffs, Chiefs, Investigative Supervisors, Narcotics and Fraud Unit Investigators, Patrol Officers and Community Policing Personnel

A continental breakfast and complimentary lunch will be provided both days.
