About the course: This course is designed to increase the overall operational knowledge of the attendee about the special concerns and needs of a Sheriff’s Office. The attendee should take away a broad perspective of Sheriff’s Office history, legal requirements and the many facets of the operation.
Who should attend: Personnel of Command Rank (Lieutenants and above).
Special requirements: This course is open to the first 40 to register. Upon registration, the students will be required to complete and return to FSA, a follow up application that must be approved by their SHERIFF. The student will then be provided with contact information for the Florida Public Safety Institute. All housing and meals for this course will be at the Institute, at a great savings to the agency.
