This course will cover the following topics: Contemporary Law Enforcement Intelligence, Information Sharing Networks and Practices, Intelligence Personnel Selection and Assignment, Criminal Intelligence Management Infrastructure, Production of Quality Intelligence Products, Evaluation of Intelligence Products and Functions, Legal Considerations of Criminal Intelligence, Information Management, Principles of Intelligence Led Policing, The Law Enforcement Analyst, The Intelligence Process/Cycle, Privacy and Civil Liberties Issues, Analytic Techniques and Processes, and Effective Intelligence Reporting.
Ideal candidates: This course is designed for Intelligence Unit Commanders/Supervisors (Sergeants/Lieutenants/Captains), analyst supervisors (analytic managers), detectives, investigators, fusion center supervisors, and others assigned to supervise/manage law enforcement intelligence functions.
