Course content: This 40-hour training program integrates essential supervisory skills with key leadership elements. Going beyond the "survival skills" approach to supervision training, the focus in this program is on practical and visionary leadership skills. Participants examine the impact of values (personal and organizational), ethics, and personal wellness on all of the roles a supervisor must fulfill to successfully meet the challenges that she/he must face in the ever changing world of corrections.
