How the FSA is Supported Financially

The Florida Sheriffs Association serves the 67 sheriffs' offices in Florida with education, training, conferences, advocacy, programs, and more. We are often asked how we are supported financially. The answer is a testament to the strength of our organization and what we represent. As is shown in the chart below, the largest percentage of our support comes from our members – more than 70,000 individuals, law enforcement officers and businesses faithfully contributing just $25 to $100 per year to support local law enforcement. The other major funding streams are derived from our cooperative purchasing program, other donations and annual partners and sponsors at our conferences.

We are proud that more than 78 percent of FSA’s annual revenues go directly into programs that support law enforcement in all counties throughout the state.
