Corrections Officer of the Year
About
The Florida Sheriffs Association’s Corrections Officer of the Year Award is given annually to a Florida corrections officer who has demonstrated exemplary service in the line of duty. The recipient of the award receives recognition at the Florida Sheriffs Association’s annual conference, a plaque and $2,000.

2022 Corrections Officer of the Year
Flagler County Corrections Officer Deputy First Class (DFC) Paul Luciano has been selected as the 2022 Corrections Officer of the Year. DFC Luciano is applauded for his selfless attention to duty and perseverance. Through significant personal pain, he demonstrated high personal standards at all times and service above and beyond the call of duty. Read more.
