To whom it may concern:

Notice is hereby given that the Florida Model Jail Standards Review Committee will hold a meeting to which all interested persons are invited. Anyone wishing to record the meeting may do so but must provide their own equipment.

Date and Time: The meeting will be held in the Ballroom on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM.

Purpose:
To discuss the following standards below and any other issues or concerns involving the minimum standards and operations of Florida’s county and municipal jails.

  • FMJS Standards 2.4 – Certified FMJS Inspectors Guidelines
  • FMJS Standards Chapter 7 – New Proposal ref to Pregnancy Test for New Intakes
  • FMJS Standards 11.16 – Restrictive Housing of Pregnant Inmates
  • FMJS Standards Definition – New definition for Qualified / Trained Facility Staff Member.
