Florida Sheriffs Association Announces New Staff

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (July  31, 2013) – The Florida Sheriffs Association (FSA), one of the largest state law enforcement associations in the nation  is pleased to announce that  Drew Terpak, Harriet Sespico and Tanesha Williams have been added to the team that supports Florida’s  67 Sheriff’s  and the more than 70,000 members of FSA.  Each of these individuals brings a wealth of knowledge from extensive experience gained in their related industries.

“We are excited to have Andrew, Harriet and Tanesha join our team,” said FSA Executive Director Steve Casey. “Their talents and expertise will be a great asset to our Sheriffs and members. Our continued growth within the state has resulted in the need to add additional resources to continue to move our organization forward.”

Harriet Sespico has been selected as the Executive Assistant to the Executive Director. Her more than 15 years of administrative experience from the Department of Financial Services and Department of Insurance makes her an ideal fit for this role. Harriet will be responsible for providing administrative and organizational support to the Executive Director which includes scheduling, correspondence and record keeping.

Drew Terpak has been selected as a Contract Specialist. He brings more than 20 years of experience from the City of Miami Beach and Florida Power and Light Company. Drew studied accounting and public administration at Florida International University and Broward County College. As a contract specialist, Drew will be responsible for facility management, contract administration and overseeing new business initiatives. 

Tanesha Williams has been selected as Communications Coordinator. Her more than 10 years of experience from the Florida Bar and the Florida House of Representatives serve as a wonderful foundation for this position. Tanesha holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and will be responsible for supporting the duties related to the communication strategy in conjunction with external communication partners.
