Tallahassee, Fla. – The Florida Sheriffs Association is holding a memorial ceremony to pay tribute to our fallen officers. Last year marked the first event at the Memorial Wall – it has become an anticipated and compelling annual event. May is a month dedicated to remembering those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the safety of our citizens; please join us to pay respects to these officers, their families and law enforcement colleagues.

Names being added to the Memorial Wall:
·         Brevard County Deputy Barbara Pill – end of watch March 6, 2012, cause of death: gunfire
·         Broward County Deputy Christopher Schaub – end of watch September 26, 2012, cause of death: motorcycle accident
·         Clay County Detective David White – end of watch February 16, 2012, cause of death: gunfire
