U.S. Army, global; military policeman, rose through the ranks from private to colonel, including four tours of duty as a provost marshal and multiple combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan; retired as colonel of military police, 1978-2009.


Florida Department of Veterans Affairs, executive director; Chief of Staff to the Governor of the State of Florida; elected Sheriff of Citrus County, 2016.
