More than 40 years in law enforcement; USAF Security Police, progressed from air force patrolman to deputy chief of police; has served in all aspects of law enforcement, including patrol, desk sergeant, corrections, investigations, armory, public relations and emergency management operations; elected Sheriff of Escambia County, 2008; re-elected 2012 and 2016; developed a Tactical Unit that rotates throughout the county; Escambia County Sheriff’s Office awarded full re-accredited status by the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA).
