Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, since 1992: patrol deputy, SWAT operator; Environmental Enforcement Detective; Warrants Unit Detective/supervisor; Narcotics detective/supervisor; Intelligence Section detective/supervisor; Dignitary Protection Detail supervisor; deputy commander, Community Outreach Division; commander, Patrol District III; Colonel in charge of the Department of Operational Support, appointed Sheriff of Hillsborough County, 2017 and was elected Sheriff of Hillsborough County, 2018; re-elected 2020.
